Chaiyaphum is one of the 77 provinces in Thailand and is located in the central North Eastern part of the country which is also known as Isan. Pa Hin Ngam National Park

The park was first surveyed by the Tep Satit Forest department in 1985 and Pa Hin Ngam was established and covered an area of ten square kilometres around the rock formations. Phu Khiao Wildlife sanctuary
This is a sanctuary in the province which overlaps three of its districts namely, Khon San, Kaset Sombun and Nong Bua Daeng and covers an area of 975,000 Rai. The main attraction of the place is an extensive grassland which is 900 metres above sea level and covers an area of approximately 5,000 Rai. The place is renowned as the breeding grounds of the famous hog deer, which is nearly extinct in Thailand. The place is surrounded by lush green hills and is an excellent place to introspect.
