Phitsanulok is a province in Thailand located in the lower northern part of the country, it is one of the seventy-six provinces of Thailand. It borders Sukhothai and Uttaradit on the north, Loei and Phetchabun to the east, and Phichit and Kamphaeng Phet to the south. In the northeast, it borders Laos. The name Phitsanulok when translated means 'Vishnu's heaven’ or ‘Vishnu's world'.
